We know that buying over the Internet, by its nature, is not the same experience as shopping on the high street. You can’t pick it up, you can’t try it on, and your computer screen may not show the true colours. To help build your confidence in purchasing from our site, we offer you the following guarantee on non personalised products: if for any reason at all you are not happy with your purchase on receipt, contact us for a returns number, then return it to us, unused, in it’s original condition along with it’s original packaging within 14 days then we will refund to you the full price less postage

We cannot refund the postage cost incurred in returning unwanted goods and even where you have qualified for free delivery a minimum postage and packaging charge of £3.25 will be levied on unwanted goods and deducted from any refund made. You have a duty to return any item to us and the cost of doing so is your responsibility - We advise you to obtain a proof of posting.

Postage and Packing charges are a separate contract and are deemed as a service that has begun and has been completed before the end of the 14 day money back policy period and hence will not be refunded. First Holy Communion Day offers a fourteen day money back policy.

The customer has the right to change their mind and cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the item(s). A full refund minus postage costs will be given.The customer must also bear all the costs of returning any goods to First Holy Communion Day and provide a proof of delivery. A 20% restocking fee is charge for items returned after 14 days.

To return a product you will need to contact us by completing returns number request form below or e-mail returns number to receive a returns number within 3 days of receiving the products. Certain product categories by their nature are exempt from the 14 day return policy.

The customer must take care of the company’s goods whilst in their possession and ensure that they are returned in pristine unopened, sealed condition, with all tags and labels attached to items.

Many of our bibles and books are seled by the manufacturers so we cannot accept returns on bibles or books under our 14 day money back guarantee if the sealed plastic wrapping has been unsealed – this does not affect your statutory rights.

It is the cusomers responsibility that returned items be suitably packaged and we recommend that you obtain a provide a proof of purchase from Royal Mail. The Post Office does not recommend Recorded Delivery for Jewellery items.

The company will not pay for the customers return postage fee for cancelled orders or unsuitable goods. We recommend that returned items should be sent by 2nd class recorded delivery, or you should obtain proof of posting from the post office. First Holy Communion Day will not pay any surcharges for returned items, we have advised Royal Mail that we will not pay for any packages that are returned with incorrect postage, these packages are destroyed by Royal Mail, so we do recommend that you purchase the correct trackable postage service. If we do not receive returned items within 14 days of returns number issued or advised, we will contact your to advise, it will be the customers responsiblity to place a claim with Royal Mail.

Duplicate or incorrect item - You may return any duplicate or incorrect item sent to you as a result of our error for a full refund. If we have sent a duplicate order in error, and it is not returned within 7 days, we will issue a invoice for the outstanding order. We will refund your card or cancel invoice once we have received and processed the item. In these cases we will also refund the return postage.

First Holy Communion Day must receive all returns within 14 days any goods received after this period will be dealt with on an individual basis.

If any goods are returned to First Holy Communion Day outside of the 14 day money back period within a reasonable period First Holy Communion Day reserves the right to levy a handling charge.
A charge of 20% of the invoice value of the goods returned.

There are naturally exceptions to the terms shown above, where for instance products are specially made, so please always double check the product page re "Made to order Products"

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

1.personalised items that are specially made, or ordered, with your choice of name, fabric, message or other customised aspect

2.perishable products

3.personal products such as underwear

4.jewellery (especially earrings)

RETURNS POLICY - Jewellery
All of the designer made to order jewellery items i.e. name bracelets, charm bracelets, tiaras, necklaces, engraved jewellery, etc on our website are handmade to your own specifications and therefore cannot be refunded or exchanged. Handmade items are exempt from the ‘Distance Selling Regulations’. For more information please visit the Office of Fair Trading website. Due to Health & Safety reasons earring cannot be refunded or exchanged.

RETURNS POLICY - Personalised Items
Personalised items cannot be accepted for return unless the item was incorrectly made to the customer's specifications. All of our personalised gifts are handmade to your own specifications and therefore cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Engraved personalised Gifts have no intrinsic value once personalised and as such we urge you to take great care that no mistakes are made when ordering from our website as we cannot accept returns once the item has been personalised.

We will cut and paste the information you supply us in order to fulfil your order. We often contact customers if something doesn't look "right" but the responsibility does lie with yourself and not us.

Should any purchase arrive damaged from transit ,or does not arrive at all, then please contact us and we will follow up your enquiry. You should also contact us if the item is faulty in any way or any mistakes have been made by ourselves or our suppliers.

In the event of Non Delivered (non received) products we will re process the original order and issue replacement goods as per original order. Personalisation details cannot be altered for another recipient and refunds cannot be issued.

EXCHANGE POLICY
Please note a flat rate of £2 postage will be charged on all exchange orders going to a UK address. Exchange orders outside the UK will be charged at our standard postage rate.

Non-Delivered Orders
Please ensure that you enter a full and correct delivery address for your order. We cannot be held resposible for orders that are not delivered where a full and correct delivery address has not been given or non collection from Royal Mail sorting office. If the order is returned to us by Royal Mail we will contact the customer to advise, we will re-send the order to the correct address on receipt of the correct additional postage fee for redelivery min charge £3.25 (cost depends on weight). If the customer no longer requires the order, we then we will refund to you the full price less postage (postage & packing - minimum £3.25 - Maximum varies depending on weight of order).
