Ths most important thing to find is the correct dress size for your child, you need to measure or obtain the child's height and measurements in inches as children vary enormously in size.
Please then use this height to ascertain the size you need by using the dress size chart for each designer page.
1. = Total length of dress (nape to hem)
2. = Chest Measurement
3. = Waist Measurement
4. = Sleeve length
As a rule of thumb, each girl's First Communion dress is sized accordingly to her height.
When taking your little girl's measurements, make sure she's standing bare feet, back straight, head looking up, against a flat surface, a wall would be the best place for this. With a pencil mark the top of her head, so now you have her actual height. Once you have done this, stand her forward a little bit and then measure her around the waist and chest.
We recommend that you allow a couple of inches extra in the waist and the chest areas so the First Communion dress is not too tight on her.

Ballerina style is 2 inches shorter.

Dress can only be made to measurements given, if you would like to add inches you would be responsible to arranging for alterations if needed.
