We have the largest selection of Communion dresses in Surrey & we are exclusively Communion.

From January and throughout the Communion season, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS become extremely busy, so to avoid disappointment we recommend phoning ahead to book an appointment and advise us of the Communion dress/es you are looking for.

Appointments guarantee EXCLUSIVITY and PRIVACY on a one to one basis. All appointments last approximately 60 minutes.

The Dressing Room was created with the vision to give parents and little girls the ultimate in service, surroundings and choice when it comes to the all important decision of choosing a Communion dress.

You will be the only customer and your appointment will be held upstairs in the comfort of "The Dressing Room". You'll experience the ultimate in personal attention from Jo who knows everything there is to know about dressing a little girl for her First Holy Communion day.

Choosing your little girls Communion dress should be an exciting and inspiring experience we will be on hand to listen to your ideas and guide you through the process and help you choose this very special Communion dress.

The Dressing Room Collection - The dressing room collection has over 300 Communion dresses in stock in sizes 5 years to 14 years. We stock a maximum of 2 to 3 Communion dresses in each dress style in a range of sizes to ensure exclusivity. We also stock some petite and plus size Communion dresses. .For any Communion dresses in "The Dressing Room Collection" we work on an ‘Appointment Only’ basis, so that we will be able to give you individual personal attention and service

Covid-Safe Appointments – From 15th June 2020

In line with the Government Guidelines I will be re-opening on the 15th June 2020 for 1:1 appointments.

To ensure compliance with the guidelines, this how appointments will be conducted.  These are to ensure the safety of both our families.  Please adhere to these guidelines as non-compliance will mean that the appointment will be cancelled.
  • Appointments must be pre-booked.
  • Only 1 adult to accompany 1 child at the appointment.  Facetime/Whatsapp calls can be made to other family members during the appointment to help them feel part of the experience.
  • Before the appointment, please select (from the website) the dresses you would like to try on.  I can then have those dresses ready for you.
  • When you arrive, you will be required to use hand sanitiser.  A bathroom will also be available for use and it will be cleaned prior to and after your visit.
  • During the appointment, I will remain in the dressing area but you will be required to put the dresses off and on your daughter.
  • Dresses that have been tried on, will be steamed and hung in a separate area to air before returning to the rails.
  • If you chose to purchase a dress off the rails then you can take away that day.  Payment can be made via card machine or bank transfer – no cash will be accepted.
  • Any dresses left here on a payment plan will be placed in a dress bag and remain untouched in storage until you are able to collect.
  • When leaving, I will open the door to enable you to leave.  Sanitiser will be available upon departure.
  • After the appointment, all high touch areas will be sanitised before the next customer’s arrival.
If you need to collect a dress but not try it on.  Please arrange to make final payments via Bank transfer, then we can agree a time for collection.  I will have everything ready for you to collect at the door.

If you need to try on the dress before collection, all of the above guidelines will need to be adhered to.
As we all adjust to this new way of working and with possibilities of changing government requirements, these guidelines will be kept under review and may be subject to change.

Delivery Update - 9th October 2020

Deliveries During Covid-19 – Update 9/10/2020

As we see another rise in local lockdowns so we see an increase in delays in the postal system.  At this time, if you need an order urgently please select the Express/Special Delivery Service. I have reduced the cost of this service at this time. This means that once your order has been processed and/or made for you it will be dispatched with next day delivery….it does not mean (for many items) that it will be delivered the next day after ordering, as you need to allow for the item to be made and/or personalised.  Some items take up to a week to be made, (read the item descriptions carefully as it tells you about the processing times in there, or please call if you need clarification) and then when ready it will then be dispatched for Next Day Delivery.  For in stock items, I will dispatch the same day if ordered before 2pm.

Please note that some partners, who supply gifts direct to customers on my behalf, do not offer same day or next day dispatch on all of their gifts, so when you pay for Special Delivery I will upgrade your postal option to the fastest option they offer.

Please put a note of the date you require your order at checkout so I can advise if I am able to or not able to make that date for you and offer a refund.
Also note that many orders come through with multiple items from multiple suppliers, therefore during this time I have requested suppliers to ship direct to the customer to speed up the processing time, so you may receive your order in more than one shipment.

Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time and please rest assured that myself and the companies that supply goods on the website are doing everything we can to get your goods to you on time.  We cannot however mitigate or compensate for items that do not arrive in time if we have dispatched in agreed timescales.

As a final note, I am working around the clock to deliver to you but I am one person running the business.  If you want a full 24 hour service please revert to Amazon.
